American English Notes
ملاحظات الإنجليزية الأمريكية
In everyday American English, “pants” is the normal word. “Trousers” is understood but sounds more formal and is more common in British English.
في الإنجليزية الأمريكية اليومية، كلمة “pants” هي الكلمة المعتادة. أما “trousers” فهي مفهومة، لكنها تبدو أكثر رسمية وأكثر شيوعًا في الإنجليزية البريطانية.
In American English, “sneakers” is the everyday word for athletic/casual shoes. “Trainers” is more common in British English.
